Thank you for your suggestions. Wish you all good.
Hi Iryna, what a surprise you give me. Yes, I registed the CAS seminar. The world is sometimes really small! Thank you for your kindly inquire. I in fact have some questions about OA. These days I am trying to learn other univerversity librarians' successful experinces in advocating OA in Campus, but I get less information around how to introduce( or push) OA resources to patrons. Integrated them in OPAC? including them in discovery system? Could you give me some suggestions? Examples and eye-bird view articles are both appreciated.
Hello Iryna, Thank you for your invitation. I am glad to join you, and Open Access Week. It is a pity that we library still has not launched any Open Access Week events or other advocatings event in campus, but National Science Library, Chinese Academy of Sciences(CAS) will host one seminar for 2012 Open Access. This is a good beginning I think. I am a librarian, as far as I know, our faculty in fact eagar for the knowleger around OA: open publishing, open licencing, copyright, etc. I wish we librarians can do more as quickly as possible......
Have a good day,
Sun Boyang
can you assist me in applying for the 2012 grant for open access for our institution
