All OA content I have posted to OA Week is CC-BY-NC-ND. Everyone is invited to re-use any of my OA Week postings to promote OA! Most appeared originally in Open Access Archivangelism, which is CC-BY-NC-ND, but I will now add the CC notice to all the OAW materials explicitly.
Question: Does CC-BY-ND give OA advocates all the rights you need, or should I make it CC-BY-NC? (I would prefer that the content was not distorted when being re-used.) Please let me know.
Reuse on many blogs as well as on Wikipedia and its sister projects is incompatible with -NC nor -ND clauses. This does not matter so much for text (which is rarely reused wholesale), but it does for images and media files.
