Hi Donna, The programme is available on my Sciences Open Access portal. They were all speakers for the Seminar day. http://ujscienceslibrarynews.wordpress.com/open-access-oa/

Thanks for the great pictures. Do you have a pictures of your flyer with what looks like you are showcasing authors? Or are they speakers. That would be great to post too!

Professor Derek Keats (Deputy Vice Chancellor, Knowledge and Information Management) and Susan Veldsman (Director: Scholarly Publishing Unit, Academy of Science of South Africa) launched our lunchtime Open Access Week seminars. Stellenbosch University (South Africa) will be hosting a seminar on Open Access on the 20th of October 2010. Organizations all over are invited to broadcast the online seminar locally. Please register at http://oa.sun.ac.za/register.htm. Once your registration has been confirmed, we will forward you the instructions on how to follow the presentation in real time - all in the spirit of open access and sharing! For those of you who plans to be at the Stellenbosch University on the 20th - you are most welcome to attend the seminar in the JS Gericke Library Auditorium. I think your blog entry is very comprehensive and useful Pavlinka! How about starting a national open access portal to which everybody can contribute, in stead of each having to collect all the info on his/her own, and create separate web pages. A wiki/blog might be a useful tool to do this.
