Eurac Research and the Free University of Bolzano-Bozen celebrate Open Access week 2020 with an online panel discussion and Q&A, for all to join in and talk about the latest developments and opportunities in open access and open science.
Among the panelists we have Maria Letizia Bertotti, a mathematician at unibz who studies the behaviour of complex systems, and in doing so elaborates models to better understand social and economic phenomena, such as tax evasion or inequality. She will share her experience of publishing in Open Access in a field characterized by highly entrenched publishing traditions.
The second academic in our panel is Matteo Dainese, an ecologist at Eurac who works on conservation of plants and insects and investigates the ecological consequences of climate change and land use. M.D. is an author on several open access data papers and is now part of a global effort to build a dynamic and open crop pollination database.
Panelists: Maria Letizia Bertotti, Matteo Dainese, Maria Bellantone, Liise Lehtsalu, Ilaria Miceli.
This online event is in English.
