“Open in Action,” the theme of this year's Open Access Week is at the core of what InTechOpen does and has been from the start.
For this year’s celebration, we have prepared a few activities to get us all talking about Open Access and the important role it plays in the proliferation of scientific knowledge:
Open Access Word Associations - Wanting to provide scientific context to our celebrations, we have prepared a word association survey to see what Open Access means to our researchers.
InTechOpen and Open Access - Read about how we support not only Open Access but our researchers - where with every chapter shared, downloaded and reused, together, we are contributing to the further dissemination of knowledge.
Read “Small World of Words” and participate in the study - Since word associations are deeply ingrained in the study of mental lexicons, we have also prepared a short overview of Dr. Storms’ and Dr. De Deyne’s study of this very phenomenon. Their research on words is still ongoing and you can be part of it by filling out a short survey, available in 13 languages.
