Event Description

Join us during Open Access Week for an expert panel discussion of open access and how it will affect your research.

Speakers include:

Pete Binfield, publisher of PLoS ONE, a leading edge academic journal breaking new ground in Open Access. Pete will discuss how opening up their content has made it more valuable, using the example of the alternative metrics for impact that PLoS provides.

Jason Hoyt, Research Director of Mendeley, a innovative service for researchers to share and discover research. Jason will talk about how Mendeley built the world's largest open catalog of research and presents a perfect use case for Open Access.
