student participation at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT)

The JKUAT library is working with JKUAT students to come up with ideas for participation in the OA week. They plan to come up with fun events to help advocate for OA. They have already given suggestions for our proposed OA institutional repository. They are so creative!!! Its fun working with them.

I wonder if you saw the message sent to the IFLA listserv by Jennifer McLennan about the Sparky awards student video contest. http://www.sparkyawards.org/ "Calling on students to articulate their views in a two-minute video, the contest has been embraced by campuses all over the world and has inspired imaginative expressions of student support for the potential of Open Access to foster creativity, innovation, and problem solving."
