Help students and faculty become aware of open access and why it is a topic they should care about and follow for themselves. Explore the relevance of the OA movement to teaching-intensive (as opposed to research-intensive) academic institutions. Personally, to become better informed and more articulate on the value of open access to information for our society and its civic institutions.
