What are your goals for OA Week?
1. To continue to market, promote and advocate Open Access to students, staff, researchers and the general public within and outside HIT;
2. To open debate and discussions on OA topical issues and proffer solutions on how to handle the topical issue of the so called 'Predator publishers' which seemingly is targeting OA publishers;
3. To provide a forum for academics from five institutions in Harare to open collaboration and come up with a road map for a national agenda on OA.
4. To buttress collaboration among academics and researchers and promote the continued communication and sharing of their research and scholarly output using the OA business paradigm in Zimbabwe now and into the future; and
5. To ensure that OA is widely known and accepted in Zimbabwe and elsewhere.
How did you hear of the OA Week site?
