At Malmö University, we didn't start planning until a week ago. We have a mandatory open access-policy in place since March this year, approved by the vice-chancellor and hence thinking that the awareness about benefits and requirements are now more or less in place. We have also made faculty tours during the spring, as well as giving each and every staff member a practical step-by-step folder earlier this year.
During the upcoming week we will open up a physical helpdesk where everyone can drop in with their publication or just talk open access. We are also opening up an open access-chat for those who want to communicate directly with us from their own desk.
Another activity has been handing out "Ask me about open access"-doorhangers to some seleted researchers, in order to open up for possibilities for internal discussions at the institutions during next week.
