Event Description

University of New South Wales: Open Access Week events

What does Open Access mean to our researchers? This year UNSW Library will be sharing what it means to our researchers in their own words during the global Open Access Week, an event that showcases how Open Access helps to unlock research for everyone without financial, technological, or legal barriers.

In addition:

Visit us on the Library walkway at UNSW Sydney

On Monday, 22 October we’ll be on the Library walkway and ready to answer all your questions about what Open Access is, how it can help make your work more discoverable, and your publishing options. Visit us to learn more, and you’ll get a free coffee and a reusable Open Access cup to put it in!

Competition – share your postprint

Throughout Open Access Week you have the chance to win a coffee and Open Access merchandise by tweeting or sharing your postprint.

If you are a researcher at UNSW the Open Access policy requires that you deposit (upload) your refereed journal article or conference paper. Why not get a free coffee and a reusable Open Access cup to put it in just by taking the next step and sharing your research online. Sharing your work on social media can help find new collaborators, and increase your attention metrics.
