Faculty of Philosophy from the University "Saint Cyril and Methodius" with cooperation of Faculty of Philology "Blaze Koneski" in Skopje organizes open public lecture followed by open discussion about the Journal Impact Factor, Open Access Journals and Impact Factor Vs Open Access publishing.
Prof. Dr. Vladimir Trajkovski will talk about Journal Impact Factor and the Scientific Journals in Republic of Macedonia with focus of The Journal of Special Education and
Prof. Dr. Mirko Spiroski (Macedonian Journal of Medical Sciences) will talk about the Metrics of Scientific Publishing.
Dimitar Poposki (PhD candidate) will focus on the Impact Factor Vs Open Access and present a global OA trend overview of the scientific publishing. The main focus will be on the Law for higher education in Republic of Macedonia that mentions Journal Impact Factor as one of the key features in scientific publishing.
The lecture will be held on Macedonian language. We are doing our best to equip the Conference Hall with a wireless router in order to make a first livestream ever on the Faculty of Philosophy/Faculty of Philology "Blaze Koneski".
