Event Description

You are invited to hear Catriona Cannon, Associate Director of the Bodleian Libraries, co-editor of Transforming the Bodleian, and member  of the arXiv advisory board, speak to the ULS on reconstructing the methods through which the research library supports scholars and contributes to the advancement of knowledge. 

Ms. Cannon has been engaged in not only renewing the Bodleian Libraries’ collections services for 21st century scholars, but also the  UK’s national transition to open access and the renewal of legal deposit requirements for the digital age. Through her many activities, she demonstrates the path to enhancing library systems, service and support for knowledge creation in research-intensive universities.
