Event Description

Open consultation hour "Electronic self-archiving"

Date: 21, 22 & 25 October - Time: 16:00 to 18:00

What to look out for when publishing in freely accessible repositories (document servers or online archives) and on websites? Can I still publish my article Apen Access if I have published in a journal without Open Access? Preprint and postprint versions - what is meant by this? Where can I find preliminary information on journals published by different publishers?

These and other questions can be challenging for researchers. Fortunately, there is support at the HLB for this. We provide support for our researchers at Fulda University:

Registration is not required. Simply register at the information desk of the HLB, Campus, or contact Mr. Patrick Langner, Open Access Representative of the University of Applied Sciences Fulda: openaccess(at)hlb-hs-fulda.de.

If you wish to use other repositories, we will be happy to advise you on what needs to be observed in general and which tools you can use for your own examination of the legal requirements.

Further information:

Fulda University of Applied Sciences published a university-wide Open Access guideline on 24 October 2018. In order to implement this guideline, the university management recommends that all researchers archive their publications on the open access server "FulDok" - Fulda Document Server of the University and State Library.
