Open Access Week @Politecnico di Torino, Italy - 22/24 October 2018
From 22 to 24 October 2018, during the International Open Access Week, Turin Polytechnic will host a cycle of seminars about Open Access and Open Science. The programme includes wide-ranging speeches by Elena Giglia (University of Turin), Paola Galimberti (University of Milan), Enrico Bucci (Temple University e Resis Srl) e Alberto Baccini (University of Siena), dealing with the founding elements of Open Science, like Open Access and Open Data, and the relationship between Open Science and research integrity and evaluation.
These seminars will be enriched by some presentations of ongoing pilot experiences at Turin Polytechnic in IAM-Istituto di Architettura Montana and interdepartmental research centres FULL e SmartData, as well as general information about the activities under way at Polytechnic for the development of open access.
