Event Description

The Research Directorate of Uganda Martyrs University in collaboration with Archbishop Kiwanuka Memorial Library will be taking part in this year's Open Access Week events. Activities of the week will include: talks and presentations, training sessions, poster displays, handing out of promotional materials etc. with the major aim of "creating awareness of the concept of Open Access to the University community and its surrounding".

There will further be the launch of the University Institutional Repository "DSpace@UMU". This shall be used as an opportunity to advocate to the University Authorities for the adoption of the Open Access Policy by the University.
