Happily Open After: Engaging Your Students with Open Access Resources
Room 7-266A, Faculty Commons, City Centre Campus
Once upon a time there was a university graduate who no longer had access to reliable research literature (or so they thought). Open Access resources can prevent this from happening, as they provide public access to credible, peer-reviewed sources freely available on the Internet.
In celebration of Open Access Week, this session will provide an overview of Open Access publishing and tools to help faculty engage students with Open Access resources, including classroom activities, assignment ideas, and student publishing opportunities.
Presented by Robyn Hall, MacEwan University’s research librarian.
