Electronic Library Consortium of Armenia (ELCA) will celebrate International Open Access Week with a series of open access workshops in Yerevan and Ashtarak during the week of October 21-25, 2013.

One of the workshops, “Open Access Scholarly Communication," will be held on October 21 in the National Library of Armenia (Terian st. 72, Yerevan).

Some of the sessions include:

Armenian open access scholarly journals
Open access policies
Fair and balanced copyright system that supports libraries in maximizing access to knowledge
Creative Commons license for scholarly communication
