Event Description

Filmmaker Brett Gaylor investigates copyright and how it has been distorted into a set of laws that restrict creativity, inhibit discovery and turn regular people into criminals. The film features groundbreaking mash-up artist Girl Talk, Laurence Lessig, Cory Doctorow, and Brazil’s Minister of Culture Gilberto Gil. Refreshments will be provided, as well as a discussion after the film.
