Event Description

To help promote open acces to faculty and grad students from the University of Alberta, Bob Schatz from the BioMed Central team will be presenting on BioMed Central, SpringerOpen and Chemistry Central. The aim is to give an overview of each initiative, discuss the journals available, the submission process, and answer any questions they may have about publishing in an open access journal via Springer.

BioMed Central, SpringerOpen and Chemistry Central are all open access initiatives from Springer Publishing
