The international open-access week was held in Cuba with multiple activities that will be outlined in this website. These included distribution of promotional materials, conferences, meetings with authors in different venues of the national health system. One of the activities with the greatest impact was the lectures given to the network of librarians in INFOMED, which was transmitted through Elluminate for the whole country, with the presence of authors with publications in international open access journals.

Among the materials distributed, the most widely accepted was the one on open access resources, and conditional access resources, available through the national network INFOMED, entitled “Open access resources from Virtual Health Library of Cuba”.
