Right to Research Coalition and Julia
Mortyakova of the
National Association of Graduate-Professional Students (NAGPS) have been busy on Capitol Hill making the case for OA with lawmakers.
Today, we'll hear from Catherine Nancarrow, a managing editor at PLoS, who will talk about her experience on the
congressional panel that reviewed "the current state of public access to federally-funded research in science, technology and medicine."
Finally, OA week continues into November with a talk by John Willinsky of the Stanford School of Education and the Public Knowledge Foundation who will talk on "Open Access and other Intellectual Properties of Learning."
