Agricultural Information Management Standards (AIMS) supports Open Access in the agricultural domain through the promotion of methodologies and good practices to enhance the accessibility and visibility or research data in agriculture and related sciences.
During the Open Access Week 2012, AIMS will focus on the theme "Making Agricultural Research Information Publicly Available and Accessible”. We will organize a webinar and highlight on our website stories on Open Access in the agricultural domain. You are invited to send us your experiences and good practices! Throughout Open Access Week we will publish your stories on our website and/or invite you to present it as a webinar.

Agricultural Information Management Standards
AIMS is a web portal managed by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). It disseminates standards and good practices in information management for the support of the right to food, sustainable agriculture and rural development. AIMS underpins CIARD (Coherence in Information for Agricultural Research for Development) the international initiative which seeks to improve information access and coherence in and between organizations.
