On Thursday, October 21st, the Student PIRGs will join forces with the Arizona Students' Association and several other student governments across the country to hold a national Day of Action to raise awareness of open textbooks. Our goal is to hold 500 one-on-one meetings with professors to educate them about open textbooks as an affordable alternative, and to reach thousands more through presentations, emails and flyers. We are holding events on more than 20 campuses nationwide.
