The University of Calgary - Qatar will be hosting two presentations on Wednesday, October 20th. We will have two guest speakers - Andrew Waller, Open Access Librarian from the University of Calgary Mackimmie Library, and Arend Kuster, Managing Director of Bloomsbury Qatar Foundation Journals. The event will get underway at the University of Calgary - Qatar auditorium at 5pm Doha time.

UCQ's goal for OAW'10 is to provide information to the academic community in Qatar (specifically the nursing and medical fields) about the Open Access concept, what Open Access tools are out there to utilize, and what is currently being done in Qatar and the surrounding region involving the Open Access model.
