What are your goals for OA Week?

I want it to be possible for persons who are not part of a large commercial organization, publicly funded body or academic institution, to be able to have access to research papers, for research and general interest purposes,without the prohibitively high costs of typically 32 dollars for twenty-four hour access. Access does not have to be free:just reasonable. This figure is not reasonable and does not only deter access but effectively makes it impossible for non-funded individuals.This has to be bad for society generally, because such persons are unable to make the contributions to society that they otherwise could be able to make, and would indeed make.
