To gather information on the concept of Open Access to familiarize myself in order to assist library patrons with accessing information that they need in the event a librarian is not available to assist them.

How did you hear of the OA Week site?

I heard about the Open Access Week site through my professor in an Online Searching class in the Masters of Library Science program at San Jose State University.
