to promote data accessibility, to increase awareness of the benefits of data sharing, to educate researchers from the AHSS and STEM alike on OA issues, to encourage them to make concrete actions that endorse OA practices and teach them how to do so, etc.

How did you hear of the OA Week site?

Dr Caspar Addyman and I are organising an OA event entitled 'Open Research for Academics: A workshop and hackathon' at Goldsmiths, University of London. It is designed to tackle the purposes above (see 'goals for OA Week 2016') and will happen during OA Week 2016.
