What are your goals for OA Week?

I am trying to co-author papers with two former-colleagues while on a maternity career break. I am finding that having no affiliation to provide me with a journal subscription is a total nightmare.

How did you hear of the OA Week site?

My former-colleague, and soon-to-be co-author, wants to put our manuscript on PeerJ Pre-Print for open review prior to submission, in support of open access ideals.
