Open Access creates space for those who want to share knowledge to publish and provides access to the shared knowledge by those who need to use knowledge.

Open Access Week provides an opportunity for librarians to know what they stand for and do. It is also an opportunity to create awareness for faculty to publish research articles for free in Open Access Resources and for students and faculty to access the Open Access Resources. 

For my institution library to get involve in the Open Access Week is an opportunity to make a great impact on all users as to their eligibility.
