Event Description

To celebrate International Open Access week the Library, Research Office and ISS invite you to a facilitated Open Forum on Supports for Research Data at NUI Galway.

This a great opportunity to consider and examine a range of topics including:

- Current Research Funder requirements to make data openly accessible
- Creating a Data Management Plan
- Choosing a licence for my open data
- Secure management and storage of Research Data
- Long-term preservation and curation of data
- Publishing your data, how & where
- Finding and reusing already published data
- Enabling reuse of my data
- Enabling reproducibility of my results
- The FAIR Principles and my data

This event will feature a number of short presentations detailing the supports already available from the Library, ISS and Research Office preparative to the Open Forum
