Scientists of all disciplines are producing more and more research data. These form the basis for scholarly publications, whose quality is controlled by reviewers. Publications should be disseminated as widely as possible in order to maximize impact and allow others to build upon previous work. What are the challenges when dealing with datasets, how should they be stored and when should they be published? What do funders expect in terms of research data management and Open Data? How can universities and their libraries help? Which novel possibilities do Open Access journals offer regarding data sharing and peer review? These are big questions for researchers ranging from students to professors, for data scientists, librarians and many others. With the following presentations we hope to give at least some answers and invite you and your colleagues to join the discussion.
