Following up last year’s successful Open Access (OA) Week, this year in Poland there will be a variety of workshops and events:
October 24
- Presentation on Open access and open access repository at Warsaw University, Warsaw University Library starts at 16.00, room 256.
October 25
- Information and consultation point at the University Library in Warsaw from 11.00 till 14.00. Come and learn what is open access? Why are we setting up open access journals and repositories? How to disseminate your research articles and how to track your citations online? How to index your article in Google Scholar? What are Creative Commons licenses?
October 24-25
- Conference in Gliwic Academic Library: Infrastructure – Education – Environment. Jakub Szprot, ICM, will present on open access institutional repositories.
October 21-25
- Open Cafe in Gdańsk Polytechnic library. This will be a place where you can drink tea and talk about open access and open educational resources with Magda Szuflita, Janusz Waluszko, Michał Kontk and Paweł Baniel.
