Event Description

A panel of journal editors and librarians will offer insights into journal publishing. The discussion will range from how you choose where to submit to how editors select articles to publish.  Some of the likely questions raised will be: What does an editor look for when deciding to publish a submitted paper? Do they recruit submissions? Are simultaneous submissions okay? What sort of feedback will I get? What kind of agreement will I be asked to sign? What can I negotiate? How do journals select reviewers? What is open access? How do I tell if a journal is of appropriate quality
