DESCRIPTION:Zukunftsgespräche Open Access (Future Talks Open Access) 
 is an annual event, which took place at Freie Universität Berlin for 
 the first time this year.\n(The event was held in German)\n\nOctober 1
 8, 2010: Together with experts from university libraries, scholarly so
 cieties, research foundations, publishing houses, scientific journals,
  and software developers participants discussed challenges and potenti
 als of managing and publishing open access journals. There were presen
 tations, a panel discussion and several workshops.\nThe results of the
  event will be summarized in form of “Desiderata” and will be made
  publicly available (in German only). Videos from the plenary sessions
  will soon be available on the event’s website.\n\nOctober 19, 2010:
  A whole day workshop on Open Journal Systems (OJS) for those interest
 ed in learning more about the advantages of OJS for publishing open ac
 cess journals took place. The participants benefited from the first-ha
 nd experiences of the two system developers who gave this workshop.\n\
