 olarly communications consultant and former Director of European Advoc
 acy for SPARC, has undertaken major projects investigating Open Access
  and provides a Europe-wide perspective\n\n\nDr Martin Paul Eve, senio
 r lecturer in Literature, Technology and Publishing at Birkbeck, Unive
 rsity of London, and a founder of the Open Library of Humanities, an O
 pen Access journal platform funded by the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation\
 n\n\nRosalind Pyne, Research and Development Manager for Open Research
 , Springer Nature Group, offers her views on how commercial publishers
  are supporting Open Access initiatives\n\n\nLara Speicher, Publishing
  Manager, UCL Press, describes the motives behind setting up UCL Press
 , the first fully OA university press in the UK, and its plans for the
