DESCRIPTION:Ten years ago, Athabasca University established the first 
 open access university press in Canada. At the time, very few publishe
 rs were experimenting with open access as a publishing model and peopl
 e had a lot of questions about how it would work. We could only guess 
 at some of the answers because we were the first press experimenting w
 ith the model. Now, as we celebrate our tenth anniversary, it is time 
 to revisit some of those questions, provide fuller answers, and shed a
  little light on the truth about open access publishing.\nEveryone is
