DESCRIPTION:After a two-year preliminary project, the Hamburg Open Sci
 ence programme was launched. With this program, the Hamburg Senate sup
 ports the state universities as well as the Hamburg State and Universi
 ty Library in setting up systems and services that support the opening
  up of science. The program supports a bundle of projects enabling sca
 lable open access and open science services. Its claim is to establish
  and live transparency and collaboration as basic values between the p
