 ses to lower textbook prices for students but it can leave some with m
 ore limitations.\n\nOpenStax, Rice University’s educational technolo
 gy initiative publishing free textbooks, recently launched Free the Te
 xtbook. Free the Textbook is a nationwide initiative that calls on col
 lege and university leaders, educators, and students to closely examin
 e the fine print of their automatic billing programs and make sure the
 y are inclusive of ALL students.\n\nOpenStax’s managing director, Da
 niel Williamson, will hold a press conference for student journalists,
  reporters, and writers. Anyone is welcome to attend whether you're a 
 student reporter, a seasoned journalist, a faculty member, or just cur
 ious about Free the Textbook. In this press conference, we will cover
