 olarship with the keynote, Open Has Long Been an Intellectual Property
  of Learning and What You Can Do About it, by Dr. John Willinsky, Khos
 la Family Professor of Education and Director of the Program in Scienc
 e, Technology, and Society at Stanford University. There will be a pan
 el discussion by faculty who have implemented open textbooks, and pres
 entations on open access by Dr. Jean Peccoud, Abell Chair in Synthetic
  Biology and Editor-in-Chief of the journal Synthetic Biology, and ope
 n data by Dr. Tobin Magle. Additionally, a pre-symposium workshop will
  be offered on selecting open access journals by Heidi Zuniga, MA, MSL
