DESCRIPTION:The goal of the Open Library Badge (OLB) initiative is to 
 incentivize and reward libraries that pursue the concept of openness. 
 The OLB is also intended to make the relevant activities and services 
 of libraries visible.\nAimed both at the scientific community and at l
 ibrary patrons, the badge is an award for a library's commitment to gr
 eater openness in science and society. The Open Library Badge was init
 iated in 2016 and has since been awarded to a total of 9 libraries.\nT
 he implementation of the OLB criteria by these libraries has been docu
 mented on the Open Library Badge website in the form of best-practice 
 examples, to stimulate and motivate other libraries.\nWith the Open Li
 brary Badge 2020, the criteria have been revised and expanded from 10 
 to 15 categories. In particular, public libraries and their services i
 n the field of openness are now also given greater consideration.\nThe
  Open Library Badge team is looking forward to receiving applications
