DESCRIPTION:Open Access Nepal – a student lead initiative – will b
 e hosting a series of events in Nepal during International Open Acces
 s Week 2014. These activities and events will help to raise awareness 
 regarding open access and promote open access policies and principles 
 in the country.\nStudents, researchers, librarians and policy makers w
 ill discuss open access developments in Nepal and their roles in promo
 ting and advancing open access. Through conference sessions, workshops
 , peer to peer discussions and training sessions they will be equipped
  with the knowledge and skills that will help them promote the policie
 s and principles of open access at their respective institutions.\nThe
  project will also contribute to populating a central open access rep
 ository in Nepal with more content by motivating researchers and stud
