DESCRIPTION:Open Textbooks are more affordable for students and more f
 lexible for faculty. In the three years of our Open Textbook Network m
 embership ~100 textbooks per year have been added to the Open Textbook
  Library and are available for review. In these workshops, you will le
 arn what open textbooks are and how they can help alleviate the burden
  of textbook costs for students, while providing faculty with content 
 that can be highly customized for your courses. Open textbooks are ful
 l, real textbooks, used by many faculty across the country, and licens
 ed to be freely used, edited, and distributed. Following the workshop,
  you will write a brief review of an open textbook from the Open Textb
 ook Library, to be published on the OTL website: https://open.umn.edu/
 opentextbooks. Faculty who attend the workshop and complete the review
  are eligible for a one-time $200 stipend. Registration is required by
