SUMMARY:Learning with and from Free and Libre (FLOSS) culture
DESCRIPTION:The event is organized in the framework of  the Open AE: 
 Promote open source technologies in non-formal adult education projec
 t which aims to bridge this gap and promote practices and tools to ma
 ke open culture and free software more accessible for new users. OPEN-
 AE wants to support European digital competence centres in becoming in
 novative trainings hubs, capable of catching up with the latest develo
 pments in digital economy and teaching digital skills in an accessible
  way to their specific target groups.\nThe OPEN-AE project project dev
 eloped and tested:\n\nA curriculum training scheme on open source tech
 nologies addressed to educators working in non-formal adult education,
  mapped on the DigCompEdu Framework.\nAn online toolkit for educators 
 in five languages (EN, NL, FR, IT, ES) by adapting open educational re
 sources already available. It serves as guidance for adult education s
 trategies, tools and approaches for developing digital skills training
