DESCRIPTION:EWU Library team celebrated International Open Access Week
  2016 on 24 October 2016 at 4:00-5:00 pm at EWU Library. In this regar
 d EWU Library arranged an in-house program and discussion session with
  Library personnel on Open Access for research community. This program
  conducted by Dr. Dilara Begum, Librarian (In-charge) and Md. Mamun-Or
 -Rashid, Senior Assistant Librarian. It is a global event and an oppor
 tunity for the academic and research community to continue to learn ab
 out the potential benefits of Open Access, to share what they’ve lea
 rned with colleagues, and to help inspire wider participation in helpi
 ng to make Open Access a new norm in scholarship and research. This ye
 ar's theme, \"Open in Action,\" focuses on encouraging us to take conc
 rete steps towards realizing the goal of open research. The main purpo
 se of this program was how can EWU Library assist the university commu
