  Center for Faculty Excellence in the Henry Madden Library will be ope
 n to the Fresno State community to drop by and talk, share, exchange i
 deas about \"open access\" with a short presentation from 12-1pm daily
 .  \n \nLight refreshments provided and daily drawings for attendee
 s.\nMonday -- HERO/Intellus\nThe bookstore will present on HERO (the t
 extbook adoption) and faculty can get help with their adoption for nex
 t semester.  Plus Intellus will be in attendance to assist faculty in
  find Open Educational Resources (OER) using Intellus. \nTuesday -- S
 tudent Voice\nA student panel will share their experiences regarding t
 he high cost of textbooks and learning materials as well as their use 
 of OER or lower-cost materials in the classrooms.\nWednesday -- Open A
 ccess & the Library\nLibrarians Raymond Pun and Matthew Doyle will sha
 re their expertise regarding scholarly communication -- open access jo
 urnals, predatory journals, licensing, etc.\nThursday --  Faculty Voi
 ce\nA faculty panel will share their experience of using OER or low-co
 st materials in their courses.\nFriday -- AL$/OER Adoption Celebration
 \nWe will be honoring the faculty who have adopted OER or lower-cost m
