 y calling for a public edit-a-thon, they hope to increase the availabl
 e information about Open Access dramatically. \nWe want the commun
 ity to be part of this global initiative ... and we need your help!\nT
 he English Wikipedia page on Open Access has a lot of great informa
 tion. However, the Arabic Wikipedia page on the same topic is really b
 asic. \nWe want to change that, and plan to improve the Arabic Wikipe
 dia page. Since the page is too long for a single person to tackle alo
 ne, we want you to contribute. \nHow it works\n1. Sign up as a volunt
 eer by sending an email to mark.muehlhaeusler@aucegypt.edu.\n2. We'll
  assign a short section of the English page to you, and send you a lin
 k to a shared document. \n3. You summarize the content of your assign
 ed section (in Arabic). \n.... That's it. Don't worry about the rest.
  Librarians at AUC will review and polish the content and language of 
 all sections, assemble the article in Arabic, and submit it for review
  to Arabic Wikipedia. Your contribution will be not be marked, but con
 tributor names will be listed in the notes section of the article. \n
